March 2022 | Disability and Human Rights Observatory warns of “a crisis within a crisis”

According to the coordinator of the Disability and Human Rights Observatory, there are 2.7 million people with disabilities registered in Ukraine.
 

Paula Campos Pinto, coordinator of the Disability and Human Rights Observatory, warns of the risk that many people are being left behind in this war. Speaking to Renascença, she recalls that there are many elderly and disabled people at risk because they are unable to flee the fighting.
