The DRPI-Portugal study aimed to monitor individual experiences of human rights of persons with disability in Portugal. Through 32 in-depth interviews conducted with adults with different kinds of disabilities in three regions of the country (Lisbon, Oporto and Algarve), the study collected data on their personal experiences, providing a scientifically grounded insight on the extent to which persons with disability exert their citizenship and the barriers they have to face in their daily lives.
