June 19 | International conference "Disability and self-determination: the challenge of independent living" in Lisbon

The International conference " Disability and self-determination: the challenge of independent life" will take place on June 19 at the Montepio Auditorium (Rua Áurea, n. 219, sixth floor) in Lisbon, with the participation of Adolf Ratzka, founder and director of the Institute on Independent Living (Sweden) and Kapka Panayotova, president of the European Network on Independent Living (ENIL).

This meeting "seeks to constitute a moment of reflection on the situation of the persons with disabilities and the implementation of the Independent Living for people with disabilities in Portugal" and is part of the activities of the Project "DECIDE - Disability and self-determination: the challenge of "independent living" in Portugal" (PTDC / IVC-SOC / 6484/2014 - POCI-01-0145-FEDER-016803).
