03-07-2014 – When the support ends, workers jump from professional internship to other professional internship without ever achieving a full economic inclusion. The few good examples happen in Public Administration.
Many companies that hire disabled people using State support use incorrectly such support, forcing the workers to jump from one professional internship to another and creating a precarious situation.
The conclusion is drawn from the preliminary report of the study “Monitoring Human Rights of Disabled People in Portugal”, presented this Thursday in Lisbon, in the III Annual Conference of the European Association of Disability Research, that occurs in the days 3 and 4 of July at Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (ISCSP).
