03-12-2015 | In Portugal people with disabilities can be prevented from exercising their rights such as to vote, marry or manage goods, which goes against the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The complaint is made by the Disability and Human Rights Observatory (ODDH) on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is celebrated this Thursday, and came after a report sent to the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities the United Nations (...).
